I agree.. Tom Brady is good because he is a system QB. Take him away from New England and IMHO he is the same 3rd string QB that he was when he played at Michigan
That's absurd. You've made some ridiculous comments in the past. This comment takes the cake and icing.
A system QB? There's no such thing in the NFL. You still have to stand in the pocket make the correct read and deliver the ball while 300 linemen are trying to tear you head off.
you could say that about most positions....obviously you must be in a system that compliments/optimizes your skill set....i could go on and on...ask the Carousel of Rb's that go thru denvers system
I disagree. There's a huge difference between playing QB and RB in the NFL. A running back is only as good as his line. Denver RBs do well because they always have a good offensive line with good blocking schemes.

I disagree Frank, but let me clarify if i may....
A player will be able to maximize his potential being in the right system.....A strong armed Qb when elway played in Denver, Marino in Miami, A weaker armed Joe Montana in the west coast offense...These were all systems to maximize their potential......I am sure all would have succeeded handsomely in other systems, but it think you would agree that to this were the case......When the Giants put in Hostetler they allowed him to run a little more...Look at Vick in Atlanta....Mcnabb in Philly......
You are right....RB is hugely different and there is not the learning curve that there is at QB, OL or Safety....
My only point is that in the right system a player truly gets to maximize his potential...
I made no comment about Brady...What i feel about him is that he is a winner/competitor and will do what is necessary to succeed....
Why is everyone down on Bledsoe? Is he any worse than in past years? He is not playing well but his o-line is dog meat. Those guys are awful. What did they have, 50 yds rushing? Gave him close to no time...he made some bad mistakes, but you don't have a seasoned QB waiting in the wings...you basically have a rookie that you are asking to take control of a team that is designed to win this year. They don't have time to develop a QB...they will go nowhere with Romo, Bledsoe gives them a chance....
But the class of the NFC East has risin to the top....
