On my way to Mexico for 7 days in the sun. As a good bye gift, take the St. Louis Cards - 1 1/2 over my Pirates. Just not enough players left to score with a team like the Cards. Cincy stinks too, so I am not swayed by the Pirates recent hot streak......players are bitching about the fire sale in the media, and some know they are on their way to a contender, so their minds may be elsewhere. I heard Giles and Kendall to San Diego earlier this week. Although not a contender, that is where Kendall's dad coaches and I think Giles may be from the West Coast too. Just feel the purge will catch up the the Pirates versus a real contender tonight.
