On another site, I also saw a thread where a guy is fading the top consensus road favorite and the top consensus home favorite each week (based on betting percentages on the favorite). The record for that system so far this year is 10-1-1. Based on that info, the plays this week would be on Detroit and Buffalo.

My 2 cents.

The way I use this information is on teams or totals to stay away from. It is well known that the "public" plays favorites and overs.

I take a look at this and it tells me, even though I like Carolina and GB, to stay away from those games because the public is at a higher percentage on the Dog.

These numbers are also what kept me away from the Under in the Indy/Wash game.

That being said, I think this information does not stand on its own and can only be used as a piece of your capping.
