I'm real hot right now, going 3-0 Saturday in college and 4-0 for the weekend. I've also hit six NFL plays in a row and am 11-2 my last 13 in football combined. Three of the four games below were posted earlier at the lines cited.
NFL:
2* Panthers + 3 1/2 (-125)
Carolina has won four in a row and is a different team since Steve Smith returned. The Panthers turned a major corner with their win over the Ravens and are a more complete team than Cincinnati with its poor defense.
1* Redskins +9 (-120)
One of the strongest trends in the NFL is to play big road dogs the week before the bye and that angle has hit three times this year already. Washington is in the league's toughest division and has a deceptively poor record. They really need a win and with the bye coming up they are desperate. Indy is a better team but has flaws that were exposed in two narrow wins before their bye.
1* Bucaneers +5 1/2
Tampa's another team that may have turned a major corner with its win last week. Gradkowski is the real thing and yet another solid quarterback out of the MAC. The Eagles have a powerful offense but are giving up a lot of points---too many to lay on the road.
Opinion only: Browns (may be upgraded to a rated play if the number goes higher)
College:
1* South Florida -1
A very solid team that took Rutgers to the wire, beat North Carolina on the road last week and drubbed UConn. How would Cincy fare against those teams?
