One of my bigger plays of this season....Akron -7, bought the half point
I have really studied this game. Miami Ohio is not good this year. They just beat Buffalo for their first win last weekend in Buffalo on Sunday. Game was pushed to Sunday due to bad snow storm on Sat in Buffalo. So they are on short rest. They needed to rally after being down in the third quarter to get the win and Buffalo is one of the worst teams in the country...
Akron has two wins. One big road win against NC St. They have played most their games on the road. Only one home game thus far. They have a very talented team and were supposed to be much better than their record indicates. But injuries and too many road games have hurt them. Everyone is healthy now including their RB who was recruited by Ohio St., Kennedy. He should have a big day. Akron was picked to be the class of the league. I think they prove that today with a big double digit win, they are way more talented than Miami Ohio. They also had a bye week, so they are well rested and this is a revenge game. They lost bad last year to Miami Ohio on the road.
I think Miami O keeps this game close in the first half and gets beat up in the second half. My ONLY reservation in this game, is that Miami O will play tough because if they lose, they are basically done for the season. I don't think it will matter here.

I also like....SO. Miss @ Va Tech +17.5. This line opened at +12.5. Does anyone think the original linesmakers could be this far off? Va Tech has been struggling. 17.5 is a lot for this team to cover. Both teams are 4-2
