With only three College games on the schedule Thursday, make sure you don’t miss out on the Cavaliers. UNC has only won a single game this season and is even worse (0-5) against the spread. Since 1992, UVA is an impressive 10-4 ATS when playing UNC. Expect the Cavaliers to run all over the Tar Heels’ rush defense which gives up over 200 yards a game. With the Tar Heels only getting 6 points on the road, it is no wonder that over 90% of the betting public is all over the Cavaliers.
I don't understand why everyone on the board thinks North Carolina will win this outright or even win plus the points....These stats don't lie
The Tar Heels have been consistently weak on offense and porous on defense, scoring just 17.5 points per game while allowing an average of 35.7. With 119 Division I-A schools, they rank 116th in turnover margin at minus 1.33, 115th in scoring defense, 113th in rushing defense (207.8) and 100th in total defense......
That's just terrible.....
Meanwhile, Virginia had a 20 point lead last week against a good Maryland team but ended up losing by 2. They showed life with more than 400 yards total offense in that game.
Take into account Virginia is playing at home and on National TV.......
I don't get what everyone is seeing that I am not....I don't like that the public is hard on Virg
I think Virginia is the only way to play this game, but I'm not laying that wood with a pathetic team, especially when the public is all over them. Still, QB Sewell has this team moving in the right direction, as evidenced by outgaining Maryland by almost 100 yards.
The problem with taking UNC is that its offensive line can't run block or pass block. QB Sexton is a disaster, and Bunting is among the worst coaches in college football.
