I don't expect Carpenter to give up as many runs again as he did the first time he faced the Mets lineup. St. Louis is about as streaky as a team can be and I think they know if this goes to game 7, they will be in trouble. The Cards best chance to punch their World Series ticket is tonight and I think the Cards bats put some runs up to support their Cy Young pitcher.

You're right. Thanks for pointing that out. I have a tendency to dwell on the negatives for the team I lost on as opposed to looking at the game as a whole. I have learned a lot from you Frank and your comments are always appreciated in my threads.
