As a Va Tech alum, I say stay away...defense is pretty solid, but they have absolutely no pass attack...good receivers with no one to throw the ball accurately to them...the hokies have been cover machines in the past, but this team just stinks...i have watched all the games and am ashamed of the play...i hope they take it to southern miss, but would not be surprised if the game played closer than it should...i just think the line got moved heavily do to the hokies being a public favorite...13.5 or 14 i would understand but never the 17 i am seeing at some books...good luck!

my pleasure...i did just get an email from campus that stated this was homecoming...didn't realize that...but i still say stay away...lead with your brain and not your heart...mine says stay away!...good luck in whatever you play!

southern miss has no offense....throw left then right and run up the middle....bower is a coach that plays very safe and if he is up never never runs up the score...both teams have a good defense....this score ...could....be 10-0...i agree i think the public thinks this is virg tech chance to score big and beamer will run up the score after the two embarrassing loses
