A slew of Houston Cougars QB put up monster numbers and did shit in the NFL. A few Marshall QB did great in college and did shit in the NFL.

Same applies with running backs. Some of the greatest college running backs were complete NFL busts. Lawrence Philips and Archie Griffith to name two. And many no name college RBs have had Hall careers.

Young might become the greatest NFL QB. However, college success does not guarantee a successful NFL career.

I couldn't disagree more about Marshall. Pennington & Leftwich are not bad. How many other schools the size of Marshall have 2 starting QB's in the NFL? That Conference has produced some good young QB's.

People like Phillips and Clarett had off the field problems that ruined them. Many Penn St RB's have failed too!

Houston is also Run & Shoot and everyone knows that doesn't translate in the NFL. That's like saying every Navy & A.F. RB's should be great NFL players because they run for 300 yds each week!

No way, have to go with Gradkowski
