      God Joe...SO VERY TRUE.

When he'd lower his shoulder and punish the linebackers and DB's it was a joy to watch.

He scored TD's and acted like he's been there before. That's why I always respected Barry Sanders and Emmit Smith for the same thing.

And it was NEVER EVER about him.

      Man....so many memories.

I Live in Madison, Ms.Have A Restaurant In Ridgeland, Mississippi And Walter, Brother And Mother Would Come Eat, And They Were The Best People To Talk To, So Much Fun And As Good As They Get, I See His Brother From Time To Time. He Was A "great Athlete" But More A Greater Human Being And That's A Fact, Not Many Like Him Around More.that's My 2 Cents, But Worth A Lot More, Just To Have Known The Man.

What's so funny to me is that this was the SB against N.E. and we were all pumped up here but we also all knew we were getting our asses handed to us. It wasn't too long after the "Miracle on Ice" so we were holding out hope but it didn't happen!

I'll never forget it. The coach was Raymond Berry and the Patriots Slogan going into the game was "Berry the Bears" ... NOT!

                                Hi Jordan

Thank you for that....I was an Ind. Eng. working at Rockwell in Downers Grove, Il when they won the SB...I had the opportunity to meet Gary Fencik there when he was doing a fund-raiser, and his handshake was like iron...these guys are definitely not soft....GO BEARS
