Georgia ---> -13.5 (-119)
I Did buy down to get it below 14 "Just in Case" and i suggest you do the same.
I LOVE Georgia in this spot. This probably isn't a popular choice because as i was looking around, the people who liked this game, seemed to be on Vandy. I looked at the lines Monday and it jumped out at me then. Georgia has won 11 straight in this series and has dominated Vandy overall (47-17-2) All Time.
I realize Georgia scored 2 TD's on Returns last week but i really felt like their offense found a rythym for the 1st time in a month. They had a tougher 2nd half but once Tenn. built a lead they became too one dimensional. QB Joe Tereshinski should get the start for Georgia and i expect a good game from him.
Vandy QB Chris Nickson should get the start but may not because of an ankle injury that caused him to leave the last game against 'Ole Miss. If he plays, his mobility should be limited and that's a bad sign against what should be a VERY Hungry Georgia Defense.
Georgia has outscored Vandy 154-47 in the last 5 meetings in Sanford Stadium. Georgia Won the last 4 meetings (2 home, 2 away) by an average score of 36-11 ... And those games were with Jay Cutler @ QB for Vandy.
Georgia has beaten Vandy by Double Digits in 11 Straight meetings and 18 of the last 20 times they have played!
Georgia is also (19-7) Ats in their Last 26 after a SU Loss.
I think if Georgia beats Tenn. last week and is favored by 20 here against Vandy, the Commodores might have been a play. That didn't happen and we get a better line because of it (imo). Georgia was embarrassed last week at home and i think they take it out on Vandy today. There is no look ahead to next week for Georgia either as they play home against Miss. St. I'm banking on Focus and a pissed off bunch of Dawgs both showing up this week!
I know Vandy has some nice numbers as a Road Dog and that's the biggest trend against me here!
I think Vandy is stepping between the hedges at the wrong time but we will see!
GOOD LUCK !
