NBA 2006 Preseason tracking thread...

I'll keep all picks in here the rest of the preseason...

Only see one game that I like and will bet small...

I'll just count the bets that I post, so I am 1-0 with that easy win last night...

Tonight I like the Knicks +2...

A very similar spot to last night with Sacramento...

It is the Knicks' preseason opener with a new coach, Isiah Thomas, and if you look at the New York Post, you see that all he is talking about is winning...He knows no other way...He wants to win at all costs and here is a quote from Isiah about the 2006-07 season:

"I want to win all the time," Thomas said after the team practiced yesterday. "There's a championship out there to be had. No one has been crowned champion yet and until I'm out of the race, I'm preparing to win the race."

Now Vinsanity didn't even play NJ's preseason opener and Kidd played about 10 minutes...Isiah is trying to establish a new mindset in NY after the debacle of last season, so something tells me he is going to want to win this game...

As bad as the Knicks were last year, they had a pretty good preseason...

I bet the Knicks +2 small tonight...

The rest of the games do not appeal to me...I picked Char -2, Bos Pk, Orl +2, Min +3 & Atl +2, but I am not betting these...

2-0 posted record with preseason bets...

I am going to take a shot with the Wizards +4 tonight small (all preseason bets are "small" (I'll have actual bet amounts for the regular season)...

LeBron didn't play last night against Boston at a neutral site (Manchester, NH), but his mates won 91-82 anyway...I'll assume he won't play again, but even if he does, Washington has some motivation here going up against the team that knocked them out of the postseason last year...Yes, I know it is the preseason, but any games where you can find edges, you have to look harder at those games...Another "edge" for Washington is playing Cleveland on the back-end of a back-to-back...I'll take the Wizards here...

I didn't bet it, but almost pulled the trigger on San Antonio, as they catch Orlando on the back-end of a back-to-back and Orlando starters played decent minutes last night and I expect minimized minutes for these guys tonight...I just hate laying points in the preseason...
