good question---yes they do have an effect on the line, only if one of the teams is from the Southern area of the USA.....
for example---
Syracuse playing W Va........both these teams have already had an early frost, and leaves changed colors much sooner than say a Auburn or Fla team.....
So in the case of Syr/W Va, they really have no affect one way oer the other, so you take the favorite, Home team (they're used to seeing their own leaves), and in the case of the Aub/Fla game, no early leaves falling just yet, so you take the Visiting team + points, as they have no distinct color disadvantage.......
Now lets say, Georgia goes up to Oregon, where the leaves have fallen already, and Oregon, with their wild color uniforms, and blending in with the leaves, not to mention using a Brown FootBall with Green writing on it, well, you get the picture.....
You've come a long way with the color capping scheme, and it amazes me the way you're constantly trying to learn.....
Don't try and jam it all in, in just one year, it took me years to master this.......
I'm not gonna even try and explain the "SNOW" scheme of capping........kapt
