Good Luck TP. I follow the Pac10 and like Oregon to bounce back against a bad UCLA team.

Thanks everyone. I'm adding this play. There is no way Houston wouldn't have come the favorite in this game if not for the embarassing home loss to Lafayette last week (a game it led 21-0 before going to sleep). This team is still plenty good enough to beat a Southern Miss team that is 100%, but it just so happens USM has suspended its leading rusher and receiver for the first half, and the QB position is in shambles.

Young's turf toe continues to be a problem in practice, despite a weekend of rest. "He's not real good. At least he wasn't in that Tulsa game," coach Jeff Bower said. "It affected his throwing. It did all week long. We were concerned about that. Even one time in the game, we ran a little naked bootleg off the play-action fake. He just can't turn the corner. If he's 100 percent, he's down that sideline running. It just took him forever, and he didn't look real fast. It's affecting him, but I'm proud of him. He's played with it; he's been a tough guy, and he's doing the best he can. ... Those turf toes are like ankle injuries. Some guys are quicker to respond than others. It's an injury that needs rest, and we can't afford to rest him."

Young's status is even more critical because backup QB Stephen Reaves is doubtful with a high ankle sprain. Walk-on Todd Wilson would be next up behind Reaves, followed by freshman Martevious Young.
                            2* Houston ML +110

TP. If the Southern Miss suspensions are just for the first half, wouldn't it be better to play Houston just for the first half. They are +0.5, minus 112 at Pinny.
