I'm shooting for a 6-0 weekend in college and got off to a big start, going 2-0 Thursday with easy wins on Temple and Boston College. All of these plays were posted earlier at the lines I'm quoting here. Most have not moved and still represent strong value.
2* Georgia -13 1/2
I like this play a lot. Georgia, which has an excellent defense, was lit up for 51 points last week by Tennesseee in a game I won. I love playing strong teams off bad losses. Georgia should rebound at home against a very weak Vanderbilt offense. Georgia has faced several stong defenses and should break out here. Predicted final: Georiga 34-3.
1* Minnesota +8 1/2
I'm still not sold on Wisconsin which is 5-1 against weak competition. Minnesota has played a brutal schedule and lost by only one to Penn State last week. Gophers consider this a season-saving game and lost in a very flukish way last year to Wisconsin. This is a toss-up game so take all these points.
1* Florida State -23
Duke is Duke. Bowden is Bowden. The game is in Tallahassee. The number is reasonable. Enjoy the blowout.
1* Texas -29
Texas' win last week against a real good Oklahoma team was impressive even though it was aided by turnovers. Under Mack Brown, Texas has tended to crush undermanned opponents. They may cover by halftime.
Opinions only: Texas A & M (Missouri was very lucky last week and pays the piper here)
Miami-FL (name the socre---Miami has great talent, Coker is wrongly under siege, potential for a an annihilation)
Oregon
I like my rated plays a lot and in a normal week I'd plays the opinions also but I'm determined to go 6-0 this weekend and am using only my very strongest plays.
In the NFL, I strongly recommend my earlier posted 2* on the Rams at +3 1/2 (play before it goes to +3) as as I think they win straight up. I'll post my other NFL plays Saturday.
