Why should a wildcard winner have homefield advantage? That takes away from winning your division. All Detroit had to do was win one of their last 5 games and they would have home field advtange. They shouldn't be rewarded for crapping out down the stretch.

Agreed. College football implemented another extremely bad rule. The clock continues to run with change of possession. I hate that rule.
