  • Monday Night Football Play

    I haven't posted a pick in a while....doesn't mean I haven't been gambling.....

Anyways I really liked this play and wanted to throw it out there. It's my first 5* play in the NFL so far.

    10/9

    Broncos -5 vs. Ravens (-110)
    5*

I just think that the Ravens are going to be exposed sooner or later and playing on MNF on the road in Denver against a Broncos team coming off a bye is the perfect time for that to happen.

    Good luck.

A lucky winner is still a winner right?

There's no such think as a lucky win. A win is a win is a win.

        Congrats

Thanks Frank but as someone who had Ohio St. -16 vs. Penn St. (maybe the luckiest winner of the year) AND Carolina -7 vs. New Orleans (one of the worst losses of the year) in a span of about 2 weeks, I can say that sometimes it's better to be lucky than good.

I guess it's all LUCKY winners, and UN LUCKY losses........

they go and come with the territory, we tend to pay more attention to our close losses, rather than being thankful for our close wins.......kapt

Well Kapt of course it's not ALL lucky or unlucky. I didn't say that or anything even close to that. I just gave 2 examples of where my bets swung hugely at the end.

Are you saying I wasn't lucky when Anthony Morelli threw not one but TWO late picksixes against Ohio St. to enable me to cover the spread in that game?

And i do agree with you that the close losses stick with us longer. I'm still not over that Chris Duhon bank shot in the Final Four. I had Uconn that night. Are you really saying that loss was not unlucky??

A halfcourt buzzer beating bankshot is lucky. I think even Duhon would admit to that...

If you are saying that there is no luck involved in gambling then we'll just have to agree to disagree.
