  • Before Playing Monday Night Football You Need To Know

Especially if you play the total, the weather is going to be bad. Can you believe snow. Here is a summary of tomorrow nights weather report.

    Monday Night for Denver

Cloudy with snow showers likely. Snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches. Lows in the upper 20's. Chance of snow 60%.

If you are thinking of playing the total, you probally should check the weather report closer to game time. Hard to think snow when it was almost 90 degrees here in California today.

              Weather Impact

I think this has been discussed before, but bad weather, especially cold and snow are not always a direct indicator of over versus under on a total. If anything Wind (which you have not listed) is more important.

Rain or cold or snow NFL teams will throw the ball. If wind is high though more impact.

You may even say an over is a better bet in snow, as the offense may have an advantage. A receiver knows the route he is running, a DB has to react and is more prone to slip. The offense knows where the point of attack is on a run, so they can get ther first and establish position.

Now Denvers area blocking that is another story as the backs like to cut back and may not be as effective.

Just some thoughts, not truly an opinion either way on the total, but don't just disgard your capping due to weather.

                Bill I agree 100%

Wind will effect the ability to throw the ball. Defenses put 8 or more in the box.

However, a slick field is a huge advantage for the offense. The receivers know their route. Dbacks don't.

My sentiments exactly----totaly agree----people have the tendency to go under with rain and snow, and I go the opposite.........

DB's, LB's have to react to a person (offense) who knows what route they are running, and any slippage gives the off the advantage........

Now your comment on Wind is very important, that will affect an over total, a hell of a lot-----IMO---kapt

I like the OVER here, and waiting till the last minute to place it.........kapt

                      Frank and Kapt

Well at game time winds to be about 13 MPH. That is not even Giants Stadium on a September day. With light rain and snow. There will not be 8 men in the box.

I have the perfect play for this game. Stay away for me. If I had to lean it would still be on the Over, and probably Denver straight, or a tease with the over and Balt.

But instead I will just root for you all and sit on a very profitable NCAA and NFL weekend, maybe play a few horses.

                      Good Luck
