  • Ohhh Those Turnovers

I have Lions +6.5 and Packers +3 in the cappers contest.

Kitner fumbles that's returned for a TD. Then throws some horrible shuffle pass that is returned for another TD. Lions blow the cover.

Packer are down 3 and driving. Favre fumbles at the Rams 10 yard line. Recovered by Rams.

Turnovers will kill you in the NFL

Yes they do. The good teams don't make them and the bad teams do. Lions have a good shoot at not winning a game.

Fuck -n- A Frank............... I had the Lions on the ML and the spread as well. My car broke down on the way home the Lions were up by 1 in the 4th with about 7 min to go. Get home to see the Lions lose 26 - 17. That damm KO return that got called back was the FUCKING KILLER. Instead of being up 24 - 10, Kitna fumbles Minn gets a TD, the Lions block the extra point 17 - 16. I thought at least they would be able to c over the spread. And I really don't care what the fuck happend after that. Good luck to you Frank!

Speaking of turnovers, have you ever thought about combining teams that have a positive turnover ratio with teams that fit well in your rushing system? In other words teams that rush well generally control time of possession; now see if those teams have a positive turnover ratio. These teams get extra possessions. It may provide statistics that allow you to determine an even stronger play. Teams that rush well keep the ball away from their opponents; teams that take the ball away from other teams consistently through turnovers also control time of possession through extra possessions. If a team does both well, then it could be an even stronger play.
Circumstances do not make the man; they reveal him.

I was hoping Kitna would get sacked because Minny would kneel out the game. Instead he flips the fucking ball in the hands of a Minny defender.
