I like the A's and have since the Playoffs started. Their pitching can match Detroit 100% (imo). I had Oakland over Minny when everyone was on the Twins and there is something about this Oakland team that i really like. I wouldn't be shocked by a Detroit series win at all but i would definately go with Oakland in the Series wager!

While I admit I wasn't racing to the window betting the Tigers. I posted on a few occassions reminding guys of last years White Sox team. They also struggled down the stretch. They almost blew their division lead last season to the Indians.

Once in the playoffs those teams that struggle down the stretch play better in the playoffs. You don't win 95 games by mistake. Good teams win 95 games. The Tigers are a good team. Baseball is about streaks. Unfortunately, the Tigers bad streak was over the last month of the season.

It makes sense. At this point if you take the Yanks to win the series you are playing the Yanks in a ML parlay for the two games. +150 sounds about right..

I thought it might be lower because IF Yanks win today, one would think in terms of the huge original series line of -360, they would be a pretty big favorite tomorrow;that would mean current series line for Detroit atb-160 would be lower OR that Detoit would be favored in today's game.

Wow-I am glad I had the foresight to in a sense take back a good portion of my bet on Yanks to wins WS by betting Tigers today to finish off Yanks.
