I think this will be a perfect time for S.D. to score some runs against Suppan. Everyone has pretty much counted the Pads out now and in a weird way i think that, and being away from home has taken some pressure off. You have to expect St Louis to put runs on the board at home as well!

The Yankees have been held down too long (imo). Detroit has great pitching but i think it will be awfully hard to pitch 3 straight "GEMS" against this lineup. With that said, i think the Tigers should be able to put some up against Wright as well. The last 2 have gone way under and i expect a little more offense today. As far as the game goes ... I think it is a 50/50 toss up. I wouldn't be shocked or surprised by either team winning. I would be shocked by another 3-2 or 4-3 game here though!

I have to go with Maddux in this situation at home. If there was ever a time for him to be on his game, it is today. This is usually when the pitchers show up and Maddux isn't going to the Hall of Fame for nothing. I also have to assume the Dodgers can get something done off Trachsel as well!
