I noticed that too, it's ubiquitous too, from other sites, it was -33 and now it's -30 at Bodog (which is a sure fire fucking clue that something is rotten in the capital of Denmark. Bodog always skews the line so that favorites are more expensive, without giving much of an incentive on dogs. Bodog is the worst book on the net!).
I went to my favorite link....
I see that they're showing NA for how much money is being put down (but they needn't keep up with the charade, 80% of bets are on Louisville at -33 open). Ok two theories, because I know i don't know enough about the books to really have an educated opinion (please feel free to show me how I'm wrong).
1. Sharp syndicate(s?) DUMPED money on MTSU all at once, forcing line adjustment from books in communication with eachother (and I suspect many of them are constantly talking to eachother).
2. Consult companies that set lines (based mostly in England) reset the line due to lack of action or some other reason....
thoughts?
Jcinda, it would be interesting to hear from you my friend. I won lots of money on Louisville when they played Miami, and I've been playing with that money ever since. If the fix is in (jk... meaning there's something else rotten) it might be worth considering what it is about MTSU that's got the money running on it.
