  • Vernon Wells

Boy what a great analyst-he is very bright, articulate, soft spoken, has great insight, and is on target with everything.
He is a lock to by a successful baseball analyst(if he so chooses) for someone once his playing days are over.

I like him alot....a real lot.....He carries mucho credibility and he is not all about, "I do this" and "I did that"...a la Joe Thiesman....He is also very well thought out and measured with his responses....

He has a bright future on the field and in the studio......

Vernon Wells last night did what a lot of other players can not do successfully...

Look relaxed in an environment totally unknown to them and performed beautifully... very insightful... would not mind to see him instead of Tino Martinez(that guy looks way too nervous up there)

Thats cool that this thread was created, because a couple days ago I was commenting to my roomate how impressive Wells has been on ESPN. I agree with you guys, some of the keys are the way he doesnt talk about himself, he seems humble and is soft-spoken, an doesn't try and force points, lets the baseball discussion come to him.

He's really good. It's nice to listen to someone who is knowledgable and isn't all about promoting themselves. I'm sick of John Kruk.
