Basically he said w/o gambling sports would not be what they are today, he mentioned something about these Tuesday and Wed. night CFB games. Also said something bout all the $ that came in on the superbowl, Vegas and onlone. I think they were supposed to talk about internet gambing law, but it got little mention. Other two people really had no idea, they kept talking about purity in sports. They also talked about womens sports and how low of a draw it is...Sorry for the lame recap.

IMO, the NFL product as a whole has gotten worse and worse every year, but nobody realizes it since 90% of the people who watch it either have: fantasy teams, office pools, and bets on the games.

I don't know how anyone could watch some of these games without their favorite teams involved. Every big play is either a flag, disputed, challenge, replay, etc etc. Teams literally cannot get out of their own way. Just brutal.

I was at the Giant/Colt game. The offensive interference call was made by a ref 25 yards away. Who was screened by the d-back. There was another ref 5 yards away who made no call. Makes one wonder on the competence of the refs.

Could not agree with both of you more. Here's a thought...why did they bring back replay? and add it to college football? Maybe gamblers were getting tired of shafted by a horrendous call? If we are betting on the games we are betting on what should happen....and before they had no control over those erroneous calls....now they do...maybe one reason replay is in?
