So what will be the impact of the new gaming legislation?

It is illegal and always has been to gamble on line (except horses).
However, Neteller is a foreign company and the U.S. government has no real ability to go after them.
The effect of this bill will be to shutdown ALL websites run by publicly traded companies and end all financial transfers originating from American banks or firms to gambling sites.
I don't think privately held companies with sites will be affected at all. I also believe using foreign companies to transfer money or making third party deposits will be the way they all get around this stuff.
My biggest fear, as I've said over and over, is that when sites owned by publicly traded companies shutdown and close accounts that they will stiff their American clients.
