gris, you really need to focus on the Miami program more. Coker being on the hotseat is not about one bad season. It's about him inheriting a program that was at the top of college football and taking it out of the top 25 altogether.


Miami fans have seen the chink in the armor for a while now. The complacency, the lack of motivation, the ignorant recruiting, the inability to make halftime adjustements, the tendency to make the same in-game mistakes over and over again, the refusal to dela with problems until they've become ten times worse, I could go on and on.

As a lifelong Miami fan, trust me when I say that firing Larry Coker is in no way the injustice of all time. He's a nice man and a good guy, but he's an inept head football coach. He cut loose half of his coaching staff to save his own hide, and the same problems still exist. When you axe that many guys and the results are still the same, there's only one other logical move.
