It's 4 down territory, your in the red zone down by a TD and its 2nd and 3 and you DONT run the ball up the middle 3 straight times???????

IMO, that is why I think you take a shot and throw the ball because it is 4 down territory and if you incomplete a pass you have 2 downs to get three yards. The issue wasn't the play call, the issue is the QB taking a sack. He needs to be smart enough and aware of the circumstances to throw the ball away.

I agree he should have thrown the ball away but wouldnt it make more sense to run the ball up the middle 3 straight times as it is way more probable to pick up a 1st down??
