BYU (2-2) @ TCU (3-0) (-5.5) 6:00 PM EST
Tonight we get an interesting matchup as BYU (2-2) travels to Fort Worth to take on the Horned Frogs of TCU for the Mountain West Conference opener. TCU (3-0) comes in boasting the longest current winning streak in the nation at 13 in a row. Lets take a look:
In my opinion, there could not be a better time for TCU to play the pass happy offense of BYU. TCU is coming off a very impressive win at home last week over Texas Tech, final was 12-3. Most of you know, TexasTech is known for one thing, their ability to throw the ball to light up the score board. This game speaks volumes about the pass defense of TCU, which ranks 99th in the nation thus far, but has only given up 1 TD pass on the season.
BYU comes off a home win against an awful Utah St team, beating them 38-0. The Cougars have lost both games on the road this season @ Arizona 16-13 and @ Boston College 23-20 in OT. BYU QB John Beck is completing 70% of his passes while throwing for 5 TD's and 2 INT.

TCU - 87.66 (with 3.5+ for Home Field)
BYU - 75.18
In closing, I think this will be a much lower scoring game than last years 52-51 TCU win at BYU. Keep in mind Texas Tech beat TCU 70-35 two years ago,, this years matchup 12-3. I think the TCU pass defense will come up big once again this week.
My Prediction: TCU 24 BYU 17
TCU -5.5
UNDER 48.5
