trust me Jim, they are not trying to lose. They are terrible right now and have no momentum. No closer and their starting rotation is getting beat up on. I would not take the Cards at all for the rest of the year. I wouldnt be surprised if they didnt win another game this year.

They are not the dominant offensive team they were two years ago and it is showing... the pitching is still as bad as it was, but there is not hitting to make up for it right now... edmonds and rolen are not what they used to be... they need someone other than Albert in that lineup to help out once in awhile
