More followup to the Terrell Owens story. And it's not good.
WFAA Channel 8 in Dallas / Ft. Worth is reporting that according to the police
report, Terrell Owens attempted suicide last night.

According to a Dallas police report obtained by News 8, Dallas Cowboys star
receiver Terrell Owens attempted suicide Tuesday night.
The report says Owens, 32, was depressed and reportedly took ************ pain
pills. Owens broke his right hand in a Sept. 17 game against the Washington
Redskins.
A woman companion stated that she observed Owens putting two pills in his mouth.
According to the police narrative, the woman said the ************ of 40 pills was
filled on September 18 and—until Tuesday—Owens had taken only five pills.
The police report said Owens was asked if he had taken the rest of the
************; Owens said, "Yes."
According to the report, police also asked if he was trying to harm himself. Owens
answered, "Yes."
Owens was treated at Baylor University Medical Center.
A Dallas Cowboys spokesman told News 8 the team has no comment on the police
report, nor is any news conference scheduled.
The player's publicist didn't immediately return calls for comment.

If it is true that Owens was attempting suicide, this is obviously stunning news.
I will not attempt to play amateur psychologist here. The police department has
scheduled a news conference for later today and I would expect we'll hear from the
Cowboys on this later today. I personally want to hear from them before going much
further with this story.
WTF IS WRONG WITH THIS GUY HOW COULD ANYBODY LIFE EVER GET THAT BAD THEY WOULD WANT TO KILL THERE SELVES I HAVE BEEN REALLY REALLY DOWN IN THE DUMPS, ESPCIALLY WHEN I HAD A BAD ACCIDENT IN 1992 WERE I FELL 30 FEET THREW A SKYLIGHT(TRUE STORY GUYS HELL IF I HAD THE TIME I WILL LOOK UP THE NEWS ARTICELS) AND WAS OUT OFF WORK FOR 5YRS. GOT ADDICTED TO PAIN PILLS ALMOST DIED TWICE,WELL HELL I WAS DEAD BUT THEY BROUGHT ME BACK THANK THE LORD,HAD OVER 20 SURGERIES,HAVE 2 ARTIFICAL HIPS,ALSO A FUSED RT. WRIST,AND HAD 1 BACK SURG.
HELL I COULD OF STAYED ON DISABILTY FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE HAD 3 DRS. TELL ME I WOULD NEVER MAKE IT BACK TO WORK AND WOULD GIVE ME FULL DISABILTY,FUCK THAT ALL OF THOSE THINGS HAPPEN TO ME AND THERE WAS NOT ONE FUCKING TIME DID I THINK ABOUT KILLING MYSELF AND I KNOW A LOT OF PEOPLE HAVE BEE THREW WORSE AND I BET THEY DID NOT THINK ABOUT KILLING THERE SELVES LIFE TO ME IS TO GOOD TO TAKE SO FUCK TO.
