I Was Wrong
Regardless of how this game ends, I was wrong. I didn't expect Seattle to put on a hitting clinic. The A's had so many chances to put the game away and never did. Another closer blowing a three run lead. Not much more I can say, except I'm sorry I talked it up as much as I did. We can still win but right now it dosen't look too good, Seattle striiking out the side in the top of the 10th and Ichiro leading off the bottom of the 10th for them..Comment

You can't pitch the games for them Sandy....I agree with MCP. You had the right side. Baseball is a bullshit sport to bet. I've seen more easy winners blown by closers. This kind of shit didn't happen as often in the old days. Starters pitched 8, 9 and 10 innings all the time. Now, it's a set up guy, closer and choked outcome.....Comment

Ronnie and Kaz. Thanks. It does help. I know I was right, I just don't feel that way right now. Ahead 9 to 3 with the bases loaded and one out in the 6th and they can't put them away. I don't know if you were watching but Street wasen't 'right". He had nothing on his fastball and Macha just leaves him in. Thankfully I had the football right, but this was the big one.Comment

Everything I won in football was lost on this game. I don't blame you at all Sandman. I hope the A's are left out of the playoffs. If you can't put away a team when you're ahead like they were, you don't deserve to make it to the post season. What a rotten game. It just pisses me off that their team scored plenty to win this game and one player loses the game for them.
