    WGC - American Express Championship

The odds for this event are not out at Pinnacle yet...these odds are tentative and no wagers should be placed on this event until Wednesday, September 27. These initial odds are from Bet365 under "To Win Outright".

Here is what I have my eye on:

    Vijay Singh 20/1
    Paul Casey 22/1
    K.J. Choi 80/1
    Rory Sabbatini 100/1
    Tiger Woods v. Field ???

Defending champion in this event is none other than Tiger Woods...He is currently at 5/2 odds. Although he is always a threat to win it, my opinion is he will not repeat and no value at 5/2. Pinnacle will often come out with odds for Tiger v. Field. Probably will be more value in the "Field" odds if available. When Pinnacle odds are available I will most likely add a "Field" wager to this list. I will have my final selections and reasoning for each no later than Wednesday. Most likely, I will narrow my selections to a maximum of three.

Like it King...I'll be looking for your final selections.

    Rory Sabbitini at 100/1...WOW?

    Thanks and Good Luck

        WGC - American Express Championship

        Final Selections...Listed at Pinnacle.

        T. Woods +236 100 > 236

Field +221 100 > 221 (This includes all players entered in event with the exception of those listed with odds at Pinnacle. For the full field listing go to PGATour.Com and look for WGC - American Express Championship, Field Listing. Two of my orginal picks, Rory Sabbatini and K.J. Choi, would be examples. The total field consists of 64 players with 25 players with odds at Pinnacle. This gives us 39 players that can win to cash the filed wager.)

        P. Casey +2444 100 > 2444

        V. Singh +2548 100 > 2548

With these wagers we cover 42 of the 64 players entered in this event, including the defending Champion...Tiger Woods. I'm not a mathematician and picking an "Individual Winner" in any golf event is extremely difficult but I like our odds here. Smaller field than a normal event, usually starts with 144 and cuts to 72 (this event starts with 64/no cut), and Pinnacle is giving us field odds at +221...If we could
win even our lowest odds play at +221 we still come out +905.
