is this the worst team in the nfl. how can you hold the seahawks to 9 pts at home & give up 31 to the packers. this team has no pass rush, pass defense, no running game & what ever happened to mike williams. more than likely he'll be playing gin rummy with charles rodgers before the season is over. i think it's time that the FORD family either gets rid of matt millen or gets rid of the team. anyone who has any thing too say give me a messege, i really want too hear from everyone on their thoughts. detroit fans lets be thankful we have the tigers, pistons, & red wings. best record in baseball,best record in basketball, best record in hockey, worst record in football. this team should be ashamed of themselves. hey roy williams how about a prediction that the lions will win at least 1 game.

Millen is such a TOOL...his A$$ should have been fired years ago...his draftees are horrible and it seems like anyone going to Detroit for football must feel like they are going to prison...BAD BAD BAD...Ford's are AHOLES too...had the best RB in history (IMHO) w/o any help and look what he did and decided to do...any other team and Barry sets all the records and most likely has a ring...another shame.

With all the success of the other sports in that die-hard town, you'd think a little luck or intelligence would rub off one year on Fords, but NOPE, just riding the gravy train of NFL with no care in the world to compete w/ the big boys and get a Trophy...

History will show that the Detroit Lions organization is inept, was inept and will always be inept until they get rid of the owners (wish they'd all die in a plane trip..., J/K, but somehow they need to be moved out if the league knew what was right...doormats FOREVER = LIONS

Honestly, they started something better in giving up on Joey Harrington, he was just not working out in that system or city or the NFL one of those...

They have a solid running back and their receiving corp. is NFL ready and has been.. they just need to produce...

Outside of that there is not too much to get excited about... this team needs to sign some lineman on both sides of the ball and get a shutdown corner.. they need a playmaker on defense because their offense has enough of them to work efficiently...

They just need some type of confidence in them... some spirit that drives them to play the way we all think they can(at least offensively)

The team has been garbage since they got rid of Fontes and Barry was fed up and followed soon later.......I swear we had it good in the 90s yet people failed to appreciate it.

The product on the field was A+ with multiple playoff appearances and a NFC Championship appearance in 91......the 90s were tough to win in the NFL as the early part was dominated by the Skins...middle by Dallas and SF and late by Denver and GB......no other team had a chance ever but the Lions did have a great offense.

I like Scott Mitchell....he was decent and got the ball to Moore, Perriman, Morton and we had the best RB in history in Barry Sanders.......defense was decent and damn it so was the team........honestly I do not think you can blame the Fords on this one like some on this town try and do........they got a new stadium built....when FA came to the NFL they were first in line to try and sign the best players who were available and most of the time got exactly who they wanted.........Just ever since Bobby Ross took over this team has gone in the shitter and Millen has ran it farther in the toilet..........

I would love to compare the Lions and Tigers but the Tigers have never had anyone as bad as Millen (Randy Smith was a baseball man).......Millen just has no experience to speak of and was given the job and he has shown zero improvement.......I feel like this retard drafts like he is playin Madden Football or something.....

Lions need to find a football VP GM with tons of experience and a winning track record alas Dave Dombrowski and entrust the franchise to that person and everything will get turned around quick.......its not tough in todays NFL to fix a product quick.

I agree w/ most, but still, to me, it goes back to FORDS...why in the HELL is Millen still there? Can anyone w/ some common sense or possibly more intelligence than me (not sure anyone qualifies?), please tell me why he hasn't been fired...any other org would have never hired him let alone kept such an inept and poorly qualified person, let alone the record of team, go this long...WHY?

EVERY sane person who knows anything about sports and teams/franchises has commented on how bad Millen is, yet he continues to keep job or gets extensions on his contract...for what? I'm afraid to even look at Lions record since he's been there...I cannot believe they've even sniffed the playoffs...

Is any other franchise in NFL as bad? I think not...some close, but not this bad...

Honestly Detroit just needs what most teams need... a beef up on the offensive line and some key defensive position players... every team needs players at those positions so it makes it rough...

They could have gotten Steve Hutchinson in the offseason and really set Kevin Jones up for a nice year... it all starts in the draft and setting up the future... too many offensive players taken while passing up the defensive players who can make the bigger impact...

Look at Tom Brady... he was a steal in the 6th round... you can find offensive players who can impact a game in any round... the defensive ones and even offensive lineman who turn out to be great tend to go in earlier rounds... but get overshadowed by the Reggie Bush's of the world
