Rams/Cards UNDER 44 -104
I don't think the linesmaker have caught up with the Rams new offense. They no longer are a wide-open passing team. Their offense if more balanced between run and pass. The first two games are good indication. They've gone under in both games by 18 and 10 points. The Rams closed last season by going UNDER 4 of their last 5 games. In 3 of those games they went under by 10 or more points. Like today's game all 5 game totals were in the low 40s.
Defensively the Rams are giving up lots of rushing yards. They are giving up 144 yds per game. Near the bottom of the league. With the signing of E James I'm looking for the Cards to finally establish a running game. James in his career has averages better than 4 yards per carry. The prior two season with Indy 4.6 and 4.2. With Arizona a measly 3.1.
In the third game of the season two 1-1 team tend to play under. More so if both teams are off a loss. They want to avoid falling to 1-2. Also, if both 1-1 teams are division rivals they play UNDER 66% of the games.
Finally, this game falls into a system that Coverboy and I follow. This system has gone under more than 90% of the games.
