Let's get real. A posted selection by some obscure capper on a sports forum is not moving the line. I'm certain all books weren't eagerly sitting on their computer waiting for Ace to post his plays so they can adjust the line.

You're partially correct, I think. But the site he posts at is much larger than BC and when you have 5000 guys waiting for his plays and then banging Pinnacle with the same play at the same time, the lines are going to move.

I've observed that this is true especially in CFB.

Let me say first and foremost that i am not a great capper so my opinion may not matter but i am going to throw it out there anyways......First of all this stuff is like a broken record over and over every week......The bickering and hissy fits and the common denominator is Chuck......I have nothing against him but i have to call an ace and ace....Now to say that he has been playing everybody is a slap in the face of everyones intelligence....In fact i believe that it is quite the opposite....If not for Chucks thin skin this roundabout shit would never have happened....Who got who riled up??? Who needs to lighten up??? I would say as an observer it would really be chuck....He is the one who bends over to prove himself to the internet community about his athletic accolades 3 decades later....over and over....Nobody else.....And to say that he is the one pulling the strings in my opinion is weak......God forbid someone else come here (ie ace) and people follow his picks and he stumble.....Man, just pick your games and do not worry what other people think.....I have learned a few things in life #1 Do not worry about things you can not control (i.e. peoples opinions) #2 You can not elevate your own status by reducing someone elses by putting them down....It only makes you look small....

Think about this for once....
So I guess, if he worked for a sportsbook, like some of the services do, and gives out a play like Utep(which lost yesterday), and 5000 bet on it Big.....Then I would say, the sportsbook made out and Ace might have got a healthy commission check..It could happen as there are touts out their posting Root and others, who do work for commisions from certain sportsbooks...

In week 2 Ace was asked this question after posting on Thursday that he bet BG at -20, but the line had gone up to 24, an hour after he posted his pick...

I love this site but this thread, the last 40 posts or so is everything that is wrong with it. The whining and the bitching, ironically by some of the regular cappers about half points and losing days and bullshit is outrageous. Some of it is so comical...people who have been questioned regularly about lines and timing in their threads coming in and questioning lines and timing. If this site is so much about helping others beat The Man, then everyone should get over themselves and use the sharing of knowledge to do so and not question it, or belittle it. Obviously, it is about egos and some people who have been posting plays forever, and winning, now being upstaged by someone new, who may have had a bad weekend by his standards, but by everyone's admission ho has followed him, wins more than he loses. So we picked the wrong two days to follow...oh well...shit happens but if he is as good as those say he is, it will be made back soon...time will tell.

I congratulate anyone who has never had two losing days or a losing weekend...and, by the way, he didn't even have a losing weekend.
