Who gets left out?

With only about 10 games for teams to play in the MLB, who do you think is going to win the NL West and the NL Wild card. It looks like its down to the Dodgers, Padres, and Phillies. One team will get left out. Who will it be?

I really think the Phillies are going to get the wild card and in the NL west I give a slight edge to the Dodgers.

Padres is in for sure they willl win west or wild card.

I would say Dodgers wild card, I would have to see the schedules. Padres really good on the road and have Dodgers # this year.

Not Counting today,

The Padres see 8 of 11 on the road... 3 in St. Louis and 4 in Arizona... they need to take at least 5 of those and 2 of 3 from Pitt at home to win the division... Very Doable

The Dodgers see 6 of their last 9 on the road... 3 in Colorado and 3 in San Fran... they can sweep Colorado and by that time San Fran might not be playing for anything... a 5-1 road trip is possible and they can easily take 2 of 3 from Arizona at home this weekend... 7-2 over the last 9 games gets them the divison...

The Phillies have 10 straight games without a day off, 6 of which are against Florida... if Florida loses tonight they are basically done and Washington and Houston have long been out... I see the Fish possibly playing spoilers as its not like they will have many call-ups to play the last week and a half ... those guys are already on the major league roster... 7-3 over the last 10 can happen, but those 3 losses will probably be to Florida... they can not afford to drop the 1 game at home to Houston or any in Washington...


All in all, the Dodgers win the west and I think the Padres beat the Phills for the Wild Card on a tie-breaker... would love to see a one game playoff, but that wont happen as Philyl dropped 4 of 6 to San Diego this year...

Phils win the wild card.. then they beat St. Louis in the 1st round.
rumor has it the mets do not want to see the phillies get in..

Philly could get taken down by Florida even if Florida isn't in the thing anymore.
