dude the guy is still an amazing closer... I remember losing cause he got out of a bases loaded jam unscaved(i didnt bet the padres in that one) and that was a week or two ago... he's still got it and I'd take him on Atlanta any day... I'd take him over at least 2/3 the other closers out there... youre nuts
When will this old mess decide to retire? I am tired of losing games because this sad sack can't close games out.
F the Dodgers too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He is still a heck of a lot better than Seanez;I watched the last few innings and as soon as I saw he was scheduled to pitch in the 10th and considering the flow of the game, I figured LA would win;it didn't take long.
I wonder which dumb team will give Seanez the next chance;thank god the Sox finally wisened up and got rid of him-what a cancer!

That was lik his 2nd or 3rd blown saved this year.
He has 39 already. Sometimes, you just have to give the other team some credits. They were down 4-0 in the 1st and fought their way back. It was like you could do anything last night to them. they were going to win regardless.

Hoffman is top 3 closer in the league, American included.
