I never thought I would say this, but unless White Sox win the next two games, I think they are done for this season.

I think it is a 4 game series so they must win 3 to have a chance...but I agree, they are just about done.

Thanks for correction;there must be a make up game, no?
I suppose they would have a shot if they win 2 of 3, but still odds would be against them with less than two weeks to play.
ps I don't see any doubleheaders listed. On what day is it?

my bad...I haven't been paying attention but I thought I heard on Mike & Mike this morning that it was a 4 game set...I guess I heard wrong.

They're done. I'm a diehard Whitesox fan, but this team gave up in the second half of the season. The bats have gone silent, and when they do hit, their pitching doesn't show up. This has been the most frustrating season to be a Sox fan!!!

I think tonight's performance by the White Sox clearly indicates that this team has given up and/or at the very least is playing so poorly that any remote hopes team had of getting wildcard are now gone.
