I posted a play at this site without promotion. I noticed it was moved but not sure why since there was no promotion or .com. I thought if I did not use url it would be okay.

So, if I want to post plays at the main forum should I assume another username other than the one used at the promotional site? Or was the move an oversight/accident? Let me know so I can abide by site rules...

Dave, they both go to the same homepage and your just double posting the front board and using space that is needed. All you have to do if you need your name on the front page again is bump it up from the services section and it will be in front for all to see with your link, but double posting the same thread:confused: is wasted space.

Here's an idea

Don't post since no one is interested. You clutter the site. If you have gotten 1 response to pay for your picks, I would be surprised.

Phil i have to agree with you on your feelings i must say. When i first found out about this site i wanted to check out the FREE SERVICE PICKS that BC puts out and is was during the Basketball and Football seasons when the Free Service Picks are without a doubt the most popular and a big draw for people.When you get here for the most part you look around for a liitle while and see who's good checking out some Service Picks and when i first came here it was all people like us and i rarely ever saw a Service posted except for the occassional "Kinko's" that would beg for money then get banned or laughed off. Now that the site is gaining in popularity by the day the bottom feeders come in looking for victims and it bothers me too because i'm willing to bet that 99% of the non Services here come because it's FREE picks with wealthy knowledge and everyone put together usually does a very good job. I really wish that BC could get something financial from each of these guys that ADVERTISE here for FREE yet want to suck money out of his (BC) customers.Honestly you see some flags or banners on the site and if they are that solid a service then make them buy space on the site and really earn it.

I would also like to say that i think SPORTSTIPSTER has handled himself very professionally since the day i arrived here and helped many people for FREE DAILY without links and


Buzz has also always tried to be helpful in a humble way as well.

Abiding by the rules...

I did not design the site. As far as I know, I've abided by the rules.

I post my promotional stuff at the promotional site, but it's not my fault that it is visible on the homepage.

I post my free stuff at the main site, but it's not my fault it double posts at the main page.

This is the only site that does that; or atleast among the dozen or so where I post.

I think there's another one that does that, but if I recall it shows on the home page the "origin" of the post. Or, in other words, what forum it was posted at to give you the option of not clicking on.

All of my posts have been professional since day one--unlike some of the responses to my posts (not yours wayne, but others like the blatant rudeness of phil's comment).

Perhaps the moderator would consider making the promotional site exempt from the home page. I would support that.

I also fully appreciate that this site does not stamp out the voice of legitimate ones out there just because there are some very illegitimate ones.

But to be frank, I was kinda' surprised to find out that the promo site stuff went to the front page. I support not having it there, that's why I post where I do, so as to not become a burden to those who are simply not interested in the research I have done.

Nevertheless, I'd still prefer to post free picks without being told by phil or anyone else that I am not welcome.

I could post my free picks without my url, but my url is still going to show up on the home page when I post (as I should) at the promotional site.

I fail to see the difference between my promotional posts and the promotional posts of others; except for the fact that what I am promoting is unique and my posts are longer because I take the time to post some material rather than just a url and/or phone number.

The only other difference is the fact that some of the other promotional posts give out a free play, which I'll be doing as well. For my part, I'll post less promotional hype and include pick(s). Afterall, nothing will drive people to a site faster than winning.

I did not design the site, and I am following the rules. That's the bottom line. So with those thoughts in mind, although I respect a persons right to disagree, there's really no need for being rude.

If you have a problem with my url (and others) showing up on the home page, join with me in supportiing an exclusion from the home page or a disclaimer.

Now, in the words of Bartle and James (I'm showing my age), thank you for your support...
