    Football bettors beware!

Interesting pattern emerging again in NFL this season. As many of you remember last season was first time in a long time that heavy (double digit) favorites were covering at almost 85% (across the board favorites for a whole year covered at 65%). There were 3 documented instances where bettors hit 9+ parlays and books ended in red for a first time in 8+ years.

This year we have similar pattern emerging. Just to be clear I am talking about double digit favorites. Public is all over heavy favorites again and they keep wining 2nd week in the row. Keep in mind it is only week 3 but lines are adjusting as we speak.

    What to watch out:

    - inflated lines on public double favorite teams. I am expecting these lines to be off by as much as 3-4 points when involving Seattle, Indianapolis, S.D., Baltimore and few others.
    - Deflated lines against weak teams like Tennessee, T.B., Oakland, Huston…
    - High profile games such as Sunday and Monday night.

Don’t really know what to make out of this NFL season.

Are NFL games fixed? You see that sure catch in end zone that went through receiver’s hands and you swear you would have caught it!, or that dropped pass near goal line with no one near the receiver…..or that bad call that was whistled dead and can’t be reviewed… I don’t know…even if they are fixed it is not done by books but through single player or the ref using most commonly blackmail or cash.

Most books make more money hosting online poker, and that is win/win situation for them . Even soccer bets world wide produce more gross money than NFL betting.

As for conclusion just be careful betting too heavy on any heavy dd favorites next few weeks.

the only problem is that these teams are sooooooooooo bad they can't cover DD spread, there is no parity again this year

i hear what your saying, but i don't see any end in sight with these shitty teams not covering big spreads.

for example: every year i'm in a HUGE survivor pool with 500+ people. most years its done by week 12 or 13. last year over 10 people made it the whole year.

these teams are soooo bad the public keeps going against them without any worry/hesitation.

One weekend does not make a season. Dogs were 10-5 week 1.
