I barely squeaked out a winning weekend last week and hope to improve today. My record is an impressive 5-4-1 for an amazing +1.9 units. I hope the sarcasm is evident. I can barely wait for the cornh-uskers game tonight as I am a huge fan. Well, enough delay, here are the takes. Good luck all today.

2* UCONN -6.5 (-109) No this is not basketball but WF is brutal and UCONN gave a Louisville team, with Bush, a run for their money.

2* Pitt -3 (-101) Tyler Palko has a lot of big game experience and I believe Pitt is the better team.

1* Cinn +28.5 (-105) This is a lot of points and will be a bit of a let down game for the Buckeyes.

1* UAB +17 (-105) UGA may be a bit overrated and I dont think their offense is that good. UAB played OU close, so already have some big game atmosphere this year.

3* Oregon -4.5 (-110) I really think Paul Thompson falls apart today and shows why he was moved to wide receiver. Peterson will be able to move the ball but I do not think he can win this game on his own.

2* Boise St -7 (-120) BSU is the far superior team and should throw the ball all over Wyoming.

Tough breaks this morning...Pitt forgot to show up after leading 10-0 in the first and Ohio St kicks a field goal up 27 with 2 minutes left...oh well that is how it goes. Final picks for today.

Might make a play on Nebraska tonight but that would be it...good luck all.

Have had a brutal day so far...but two more plays for tonight. I think Nebraska can keep the late game close and possibly pull out the shocker.
