I'll take yesterdays win with Minnesota after going 0-6 the day before. I have four plays for tonight, however two of them are based only on past history and one game I like a lot but the line looks funny.
KANSAS CITY -103
ST LOUIS -105
SAN DIEGO +127
HOUSTON -1 run, +123
I can't understand the ST LOUIS line, why it's so low. Suppan in his last 20 innings has given up just one earned run and he pitches better at home. Schmidt has not pitched well lately, with an ERA of almost six, his last three starts. So, does anyone know why this line is pick em.
I'm playing HOUSTON and SAN DIEGO based only on history.
HOUSTON is 13-1 against Philly the past three years. Clemens is pitching for Houston but the line keeps going down. I can't figure that one out either, but I'm still playing Houston.
SAN DIEGO is 11-3 this year against LA and are a dog tonight. But remember, Washington was 14-2 against Arizona and spilt the last two games between them to be 15-3.
