got burned yesterday by rain & a bad bullpen, johnson only went 5 innings because of a long rain delay, then the mets got a 4 run inning to help over come a 4-1 deficit. i have 3 games that i love today.
1.blue jays/mariners over 8.5. burnett 5.73 era vs m's. 2 months ago at seattle 4 ip 6 runs 5 er 10 hits. baek 1 career start vs jays, 2 2/3 ip 8 runs 8 er 8 hits. looking for a slugfest.
2.padres -147, peavy 3-0 vs reds, padres 5-0 in his starts vs reds. lohse 0-1 in his only start vs padres. lost to peavy 7-1 11 days ago.
3.white sox +101 garcia 14-4 vs angels. he's made a career beating this team. he has a 4.05 career era, but vs angels 2.88. this team makes him look like a hall of fame candidate.
