  • TWINS on Wed, and again on Thurs

Liriano returns to face A's and Haren, before setting off to the Jake for Designated Win Johan Santana v CC Sabathia.

Liriano is going off in the 150 range, so take your winnings from Wednesday, and pile on with AL MVP and Cy Young Winner Johan Santana on Thursday ( probably -165 or so)'

    Wed:

    Twins -149

    Thurs:

    Twins - whatever ( 165 to 170 likely)

    GL all

Everybody seems to be on the Twins and Liriano. Is no one worried about his pitch count?

Read that Liriano will be on a 60 pitch limit today in the Minneapolis Star Tribune. Plus the bullpin pitched 5 innings yesterday due to having reliever Guerrier starting yesterday. Twins have one of the best bullpins in the league, but if line keeps going up there might be some value in taking Oakland. Good luck today!

Valid concerns over pitch count, but the beauty of playing the Twins these days is that, on one hand, you are making a solid play based on their starting pitcher, but the bonus is the outstanding home record, which in addition to the excellent pen, gives you several ways the bet can be a winner.

Another option is to play the first five innings line.

                GL to all and

                GO TWINS!

Garza did a fantastic job in relief of the re-injured Liriano, and was victimized for the game's only run on a blown "safe" call on a steal of 2b, resulting in RBI 2B on next hitter.

And to make matters worse, Morneau ran the Twins out of an inning when it appeared they were finaaly getting to Danny Haren, who brought his A+ game today.

Result, a 1-0 loss that coulda, shoulda, woulda been a 1-0 WIN

                            DAMMIT!
