Well another football season is upon us.
Not sure how to take this first game for Miami with Culpepper under center. As all, I think they will be much improved and this coaching staff, unlike others in the past should help them win, rather then cost them games, but this much improved to be only getting 1 point, can't take it. I think Culpepper will reduce the "game costing" turnovers, and the running game should be strong behind a large line. Defensively they should be strong as always.
What I am sure of is even though Charlie Batch wins when he is in, he is not that strong. With the loss of Bettis in the locker room, the loss of Randle El at receiver (even though he only made usually one big play a game he had to be covered) and Cower being enamored with a short passing game to the new TE, I think Pittsburgh may have a tough go at moving the ball up and down the field (even though they play over at home). Defensively this is still a good unit, but may have lost something in the trenches.
With all that being said, the Over/Under line opened at 37.5, it is now 34.5. Is Batch in over Big Ben only worth 3 points ? I am saying no, but not screaming it from the roof tops.
Pitt/Mia Under 34.5
Good Luck.
