6.5 Point Teaser Patriots -2.5/Cardinals -1 (-120)
Don't talk yourself out of this play, the Patriots are too tough at home to get upset by the Bills, and the Cards playing in a new stadium can't lose to the 9ers or their season is basically over. There will be some upsets in week 1, these teams will not be involved.
100*
Denver Broncos -3.5 (-111)
The Broncos are a solid team all around, the Rams are in a transition period, new coach, new system. Oh, and the Rams lost to the 49ers to end last season.
100*
Indy Colts -3 (-114)
I think the Colts have the advantage on offense as well as defense and are just a more finely tuned machine. 14-2 last year folks.
10*
Cleveland Browns -3 (-116)
This play is hard to make, but it might be one of the easiest straight up plays in week 1. Even with Drew Brees and Reggie Bush, the Saints are not a good team. The Browns are a solid all around team with good coaching. Also think Drew Brees isn't healthy yet.
Also was considering the Seahawks, Bears and Eagles, but don't like having 5 bets on road teams in week 1.
Opinions only: Jacksonville Jags -2 and KC Chiefs -2.5
The Jags 12-4 last year 6-2 at home with one of the best defenses in the NFL, but the Cowboys got T.O. so the Jags are favored by less than a field goal, doesn't make sense to me. The Chiefs are one of the best home teams in football.
Good luck everybody
