Is the purpose of this forum to put out picks for the rest of us, or to post fake records?

A free play that's from a bonus is not a wager. Since the only way anyone here could follow this pick is to open a new account, what's the point?

This maneuver could literally be done any time there is a one-point discrepancy in the lines. By definition, you could post a "winning" play every week.

The flaw, of course, is that nobody can make a new deposit in a new book every week and that all books require you to churn the money at least five times before withdrawing it. In other words, you haven't really "won" the free play until you've made a number of other bets with the book that gave you the bonus.

But he doesn't mention any of that. I know why.

A credible site like this one should not condone people posting records padded with free picks.

That's the point, moondog. Nobody is; meaning the "money" he's making people doesn't exist.

He's showing people how to make money? Are you saying people didn't know that if they win a free pick they'd make money????????

This forum has had enough controversy about respected veterans lying about their records. Now, some new guy comes in and says he's going to win $1000 a week and counts the winnings from a FREE play.

It's crap and you won't see me or any respectable poster here doing it.

I have stayed out of every one of the controversies on this site over the last several months and am hardly a troublemaker but this garbage needs to be responded to.
Does not need to be responded to. From post 1 Earnie gave the details of his intentions. Kool enough to take the time effort to share these plays. You like to argue ? debate? go to law scool. On the straight TIP! Pay Attention and unless you have a positive or a insight ful comment. Please Read & And post your problems over on Ann Landers thread. Have a Winning night! A win is a WIN.

A guy with 17 posts defending a guy with 8 posts.

In my three years on this site, I have only challenged two or three people and two of those were in the old service thread.

It is nauseating to me that a guy like Chuck with 20,000 posts gets treated like a hack while a guy with eight posts can come on with a ludicrous "play" like the one above and be treated with more respect than people who have given hundreds of plays here.

Follow or not follow is up tp you. He is just posting his plays. He hasn't solicit anyone or sell any thing yet.

A free play is not a play that should be counted in somebody's "record." So, he's not posting plays.

But I have one for tonight:

                      "100* Game of the Year
                      Cubs -120

Pick is being made with a free play at the greek.

I'm up 100 units if I win and break even if I lose. Is that we want this site to come to?"

He is not lying about his record, or money won/earned by betting sports. He stated that he would try to make $1000 a week. Never said that he would win a certain percentage or anything like that. He has also NEVER MISREPRESENTED any plays, postings, or wins/losses.

GL to you ernie, lets make that cash.

NOT at all, He's showing you how to make money middling a game, and he's right. As I stated earlier, I'm not interested and obviously your not. His record for the game will be at best 1-1. I look forward to your posts each day and his. At the end of the season, you'll be plus and who knows what he'll be. I dont't think anybody doing this for long will blindly follow him. He states very clearly, not to follow him until he proves himself. Let him bury himself.

                            Molta,

Using this technique anybody can make $1000 a week. Just open up enough accounts to get free plays.

In the real world, however, few people can afford to lay out the kind of cash necessary to get ten different $1000 free plays.

That's why free plays shouldn't be counted as part of a record.

Now, you're saying people here don't know how to middle a game???

What do you think we are, a bunch of 12-year olds making our first bet? What the guy did is post a free play so he doesn't have to count a loss on one side of the bet. There is no point in such a post other than to create a fake record.
