  • Info for Deciding NFL Season Win Total Bets

Just thought Id throw a few things at you guys that I look at when picking what teams I am going to bet for season win totals.

First is obviously who the teams play...

Each team plays everyone in their division twice (6 games).

They also play a division from the same conference once (4 games)

They also play a division from the other conference once (4 games)

the other 2 games are based on the previous years place they ended in their division (last place teams play 2 games vs 2 last placed teams from other divisions in the conference which they havent already played)

Ill be adding a little more info through the week for everyone.

This year the following divsions play following divisions:

AFC East Plays AFC South and NFC North
AFC North Plays AFC West and NFC South
AFC South Plays AFC East and NFC East
AFC West Plays AFC North and NFC West

NFC East Plays NFC South and AFC Central
NFC North Plays NFC West and AFC East
NFC South Plays NFC East and AFC North
NFC West Plays NFC North AFC West

I like to weigh what divisions have 1 really good team (Seattle)
2 good teams (NE and Miami)
3 good teams (KC Denver San Diego)
    4 good teams (NFC East)

I use that info to figure out what probably record for each team. I then finetune it by checking out who is home and away each weak.

One good example I have is the Titans.

I figure 1-5 in the division right off the bat

They play the NFC east which is strong... I figure 1-3 there

and vs the AFC East 1-3 as well

Leaving them with a record of 3-11 (so their other 2 games at home vs Baltimore and at San Diego really dont even matter because their win total is 5.5. (even if it did come down to them, they wouldnt win both, probably just get a split).

Just some input. Wish you all the best of luck in the coming football season
Thank you Ryan Howard! <--- ITS A WINNER!

    2012 CFB: 3-7
    2012 NFL: 3-3
