Penn State +8 at ND???

I was just looking ahead, and this one kind of stood out to me. I know ND won a tough road game, but they didn't impress me at all. Doesn't the line seem a little high?

Penn state looked good but not great at home against akron. They are a young team. ND had a tough time at a GT team that notoriously plays up to it's competition. ND is better than they looked, which still wasn't bad, I think ND wins this game going away.

notre dame wins this one 31-17ish......too much offense for PSU......GT defense is no joke and a tough place to play and i am sure ND has been reading their own press clippings.....Hopefully that is a cold slap in the face

I agree, I vowed to bet against them every game this year (all though I broke that vow by betting them last week). I will know continue to bet against them all year.

I have to agree with Tony, Penn St too young and inexperienced for a road game at ND. I think GT better than people think too. I probably won't touch the game, but ND should be able to win at home by at least 10 pts.

Notre Dame wins big......GT lost their bowl game last year because they felt they got robbed in their placement. ND is lucky to have gotten the W!! ND is a solid squad, the line is telling you that they will take it out on the young nittany lions....GL everyone!!

Tech does have a good defense, but the Flats is not a tough place to play. I live in Atlanta and have gone to the UGA/Tech games since I'm a Bulldog. Their fans are horrible, and they were pathetic last week against ND. No homefield advantage at all.

I would also say that ND's defense is probably comparable to the MAC if they suck as badly as they did last year.
