  • Ryan Howard #50 & #51 & #52 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love this Kid. WOW, what a bright future!!!!

I think Phillie fans should be excited with the direction this team is headed. Howard, Utley, Rowand, Rollins and a few young promising pitchers, make me think that new park will be packed for years to come.

Howard for N.L. MVP ... and i don't even think it is close right now with what he is doing!

Also, a New Phillie HR record and only 1 of 6 guys to ever have 49 HR's BEFORE September! The kid is amazing and he came into the league when Steroids WERE already being tested for.

Yeah he is for real, its ashame he started his big league career at the age of 26. If he started earlier and played a healthy career he would have a chance to be one of the all time great HR hitters

                Wow!!!!

I just saw this. I'm on the bet too. What a great start to the day. THE BIG FIVE-0 Now we are 3 up on Ortiz.

Jackal. You must be going more crazy than I am if you bet it for the max. How much was the max. I just have it for $250, but 40 times 250 is nice. It looks like you played him for the same reasoning I did. The odds were high because most everyone didn't realize he hit 22 HR's last year in a little less than half the season.

Oh my Gwad. I read Waynes note wrong. I thought he just hit number 50, but he has two today. This is really looking like it can happen for us.

They said on the Philly telecast yesterday, that 26 of Howards Home Runs, either gave Philly the lead or a tie in a game. That's what MVP's do. He should be a runaway MVP if Philly makes the playoffs. Wayne, what do you think if Philly dosen't make the playoffs. That's where I'm not sure, although he should be no matter what.

I think alot of people thought the Phillies gave up this year when they gave away Abreu & Lidle. Ryan Howard didn't and the Phillies would not even be close to the playoffs if it wasn't for this guy. If A-Rod can win it on a Last Place team, Howard should be able to win it on a team in contention through September!

Wayne. Good point on A-Rod. I had forgotten that. The other thing Howard has going for him is that he comes across as a genuine nice guy and is very articulate.
